My love for food continued through high-school when I completed a Culinary Arts degree at a local vocational-technical school. As well as my years in 4-H participating in food fairs, baking classes & demonstrations. College found me working toward {and completing} a bachelors in Hotel & Restaurant Administration.
Now, I'm a wife, mother, crafter, writer & aspiring cookie cutter collector. I work with Hotel & Restaurant students helping them enroll, graduate & find their dream jobs.

My bakery is still a dream in process, but until then I enjoy sharing my love for food & hospitality with friends, family & you!

I created this blog right when food blogging was really becoming 'big.' My kitchen was literally a tiny, apartment kitchen. I wanted to share recipes and ideas for easy & delicious meals - no matter the size of your kitchen. It took me a while to start posting; but now I have many wonderful blogger friends & am so thankful for these amazing, creative people!
